With individual archive migration, the migration environment is added in the Spell laboratory. The data and documents to be migrated are prepared on archive data carriers, inventoried and imported into the migration environment.
All data and documents are captured in the migration database. This includes the database for the consistency checks, structure checks and transformation processes which are to be carried out.
The migrated documents are exported in compliance with the defined destination repository structure.
The whole of the migration process is controlled by the migration database, so that all information relevant to reporting is available for the completion of the project. All archive-migration projects are concluded with an appropriate Final Report which can be presented for the company audit.
